I was having a conversation 0n Tumblr this morning about how I wished there were more fan sites about classic movie stars.  Today, it seems that everyone who is in a movie or TV show has a pretty well designed, frequently updated fan site.  There are many blogs dedicated to classic films, but it’s not the same to me (don’t get me wrong, a lot of those blogs are amazing and super informative).  I like lots of information and looking through photos, etc.  What’s the difference between a blog and a website?  Well, this is a blog that’s integrated into a larger site.  Websites usually offer several different pages with different kinds of information, photo galleries, etc.  It seems like there are so few bigger websites dedicated to classic celebrities.  many of them have “official sites” but these usually have hideous designs, lack information, are never updated, and are really impersonal.  I know there are so many classic film fans out there, and I wish more websites existed–sort of like a classic film site community or directory designed and maintained by people who really care about the subject.

So how about it, classic film fans?

I love this site. I love all things that are british. I believe that she is the most beautiful actress of all time. Even at 50 she looked great even though she had 2 chronic illnesses. I am currently reading Viv’s biography. I also author a classic film blog. Check it out. I also plan to follow you on twitter.
